最近、私の中でのヒディンクの評価は鰻上りであります。勝負強い、負けても潔い。しかもシーズン終了後あっさりロシア代表に戻るらしい。もったいない。

で、後任はアンティロッティという噂。SUNによれば就任を認めたとのこと。

Carlo: I'll take the Chelsea job

CARLO ANCELOTTI has confirmed he will take over at Chelsea this summer.


An official announcement will be made as soon as AC Milan decide on his successor ― likely to be this week.
SunSport understands Ancelotti told Roman Abramovich of his decision yesterday morning.

オランダ人らしいというか、ヒディンクは強者を指揮するより未開の地でどれだけ強くできるか、にやりがいを感じるタイプのようですね。代表だとワールドカップしか出番がないのでもっとCLのビッグクラブで見たい監督。一つは「手持ちの駒の能力を120%引き出す能力」もう一つは「試合中に戦術的な手を打てる能力」。両方持っている人は少ないです。朴智星なんかマンUで準レギュラーですが彼をワールドクラスになったのはヒディンク配下のPSVでの活躍あってこそですよね。

AC Milan chief Ancelotti is the hot favourite to become Chelsea’s fifth manager in nine years.

Hiddink insists he will not interfere with his successor’s work ― despite enjoying a close relationship with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.

Hiddink added: “It’s not easy to say goodbye. But let’s not be too dramatic.

“Unofficially, I will keep my connection with the club. By supporting them, by coming to visit every now and then. There are names for my successor but it’s none of my business.

“They have to go forward and there’s no responsibility on their side to inform me. I know a bit what is going on. I can tell you, but I won’t.

“I’m not the kind of person to put a cloud on the club. I like to have contact every now and again, but just as a tourist. Unofficially.

“Whoever my successor is can ― and must ― work very independently. He’ll be a big manager, of course.” Hiddink will make the break admitting it will be a wrench. He said: “I have enjoyed very much, working at this club with these players.

“To be honest, when I started, I thought I’d have to fight a lot with the status of players.

“I thought there was a pre-set mind that they would be untouchable but we touched each other. I’m very proud of that.

“Now we split, so there’s a feeling of respect. Not regret ― but respect.”
